Live risk intelligence from Pandita Data Brain Dashboard.
🧠 OPEN BRAIN DASHBOARDEvery 11 seconds, somewhere on Earth, the ground shakes. Most tremors go unnoticed—barely a ripple in a seismograph. But in seconds, a magnitude 6.5 earthquake can topple buildings, trigger landslides, and reshape lives. The difference between chaos and safety often comes down to one thing: knowing where seismic risk is highest, and right now.
The Seismic tab on Pandita Data's Brain Dashboard is your real-time window into global earthquake activity and localized risk. It combines live USGS earthquake feeds with AI-powered city risk scoring to answer the question every community needs answered: How safe are we from seismic events today?
Open the Brain Dashboard at panditadata.com/brain_dashboard and select the Seismic module. What greets you is a live, pulsing map of Earth's seismic heartbeat. You'll see:
This isn't static data. It updates as earthquakes happen. You're watching planetary seismicity unfold in real time.
The seismic map uses visual language to convey risk instantly:
Circle size = earthquake magnitude. A M6.0 earthquake is vastly larger than a M4.5. Color gradient ranges from cool blue (lower risk, older events) to hot red (higher risk, recent activity). Pulsing indicators mark earthquakes from the last 24 hours—your visual alert that seismic activity is fresh.
Click any earthquake marker to see depth (km below surface), exact coordinates, and whether it triggered any secondary hazards (tsunamis, landslides). Click any city to see its full risk breakdown.
Magnitude Threshold: Show only earthquakes M5.0+, M6.0+, or all events M4.5+. Search Radius: Zoom to a specific city, region, or draw a custom boundary. Time Window: View the last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days of seismic activity. Risk Score Range: Filter cities by low, medium, or high seismic risk.
The Brain Dashboard combines seven independent data streams to score each city's seismic risk. Understanding them makes you literate in seismic intelligence:
