Live risk intelligence from Pandita Data Brain Dashboard.
🧠 OPEN BRAIN DASHBOARDRight now, somewhere on Earth, the ground is shaking. Most tremors go unnoticed—but invisible to us, they carry clues about where the next significant earthquake might strike. The Seismic tab on Pandita Data's Brain Dashboard transforms raw seismic data into actionable risk intelligence, letting you monitor earthquake activity across your city, region, or the entire planet in real time. Whether you're a disaster planner, insurance professional, or simply someone who wants to understand the ground beneath your feet, this guide shows you how to read one of Earth's most dynamic risk maps.
When you open the Seismic tab on the Brain Dashboard, you're viewing a live global map powered by USGS earthquake data from the last 7 days. Every earthquake with magnitude 4.5 or greater appears as a colored, pulsing icon. The map shows not just where earthquakes happened, but where seismic risk is building—information critical for emergency preparedness and risk assessment.
Icon Size & Color: Larger, brighter circles = higher magnitude. Red indicates very recent activity (last 24 hours); orange shows yesterday to 3 days ago; yellow spans 3–7 days. Pulsing indicates seismic clusters—zones where multiple quakes are occurring in close succession, often a warning sign of larger activity.
Zoom In: Click any city or earthquake pin to reveal detailed reports. The Disaster Report feature (panditadata.com/disaster_report) provides city-specific vulnerability assessments, building codes, and evacuation resources.
Magnitude Threshold: Slide from M3.0 to M8.0+ to focus on smaller tremors or major earthquakes only. Search Radius: Draw a circle around your location to see seismic activity within 100, 500, or 1000 km. Time Window: Toggle between 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days of historical data to spot patterns.
Pandita's Brain Dashboard combines seven independent seismic signals, each weighted by contribution:
